THE STATE OF TEXAS HAS APPOINTED INDIVIDUALS AS NOTARY PUBLIC TO PERFORM ACKNOWLEDGMENTS OR JURATS TO ATTEST TO THE PROPER EXECTUTION OF IMPORTANT DOCUMENTS.

We take acknowledgments and depositions. We certify the copies (not in public records). Affirmations and administer oaths. We offer the services of Notary public of Texas in our office, mobile or any public place for your convenience.
Affidavits, Acknowledgments, Administer Oaths, Affirmations, Power of Attorney, School Letters, Certified Copies (Documents that are not in Public Records Only), Adoption Documents, Business Documents, Divorce Documents, Marriage License of Absent Applicant, Contracts, Deeds, Drug Tests, Employee Eligibility Forms, Government Issuance Forms, Health Directives, Parents Consent to Travel, Timeshare Documents, Transfer of Vehicle Titles, Life and Last Will, Assumed Name Certificates and any type of document that needs Notary stamp and signature.
The State of Texas Government Code Ann. § 406.024 sets out the maximum fees a Notary Public may charge for notary public services. The table below list each notarial act and the state fee.

Texas Notary Fees

 

Taking acknowledgments or jurats/affirmations:

For the first signature:  $6.00 
Each additional signature:  $1.00 
Administering an oath or affirmation  $6.00 
Swearing a witness to a deposition  $6.00 
Taking a deposition for a witness  $0.50 per 100 words 
Certified copy   (copies not included, must be made by the notary)  $6.00 
Providing an uncertified copy from an entry to
a notary public’s record book 
$0.50 per page 
Protesting a bill or note  $4.00 
Each additional notice of protest  $1.00 
Protesting in all other cases  $4.00 

Travel  Fee

 

Travel plus mileage  $20 
Mileage, each mile  $1 
After hours 5pm to 9pm, 6 am to 9am, & weekends  $30 
Late night or emergency 9 pm to 6 am  $60 

Location Charges Fee 

Hospitals and nursing homes, 30 minutes at the location  $50 
Jails and Detention Centers 1 hour at the location  $100 
Excessive Wait Time per hour, more than 30 minutes at the location  $45 
DFW Airport Terminal Fee  $75 

Monday thru Friday – 8a.m. – 5p.m.; other charges will apply after 5p.m. and on holidays & weekends 

 

Be Prepared for Your Notary Visit 

  • Bring a valid, government issued photo ID. 

  • Waiting Time is 10 to 15 minutes. 

Laws vary by state and some documents may require witnesses in addition to the notarization. In some cases, a notary public might not be legally allowed to also, simultaneously, act as a signature witness. 

Mobile Fees – Traveling Fees Apply

Travel fees are not specified in the law. Such fees are proper only if the notary and signer(s) agree beforehand on the amount to be charged.
